Product purchase
When you have chosen your items and placed them in the shopping cart you then need to fill out your personal details such as name, address and payment information.
When this is done you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail with details of your purchase.
We dispatch the ordered items as soon as your payment is registered and approved.

We will endeavour to answer all e-mail enquiries within 24 hours.
In Denmark all trading conditions/agreements are entered into in the Danish language, within the EU trading conditions/agreements are entered into in the english language.
Sold out goods
If an item that you’re interested in is sold out, it is also possible to contact customer service at customer@shoesandfriends.com. A customer service representative will, within a day or two, explore the possibility of reordering the item or offer a comparative product that might be of special interest.
Payment
When you pay with credit card you are always protected against misuse. You have the possibility to decline a payment when you receive your payment overview.
It is absolutely risk-free for you if your card is, by chance, misused in an internet shop that uses a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment system.

Custom and excise duties and VAT
Danish VAT is paid on goods ordered from an EU country, but there are no custom and excise duties due to EU regulations allowing the free movement of goods within the EU. On the contrary if you order from an non EU country, we cannot be responsible for local custom and excise duties that may be applied, though these transactions are minus the Danish VAT (25%) being added to the total. If this is the case then you will be contacted by the freight carrier. Please be aware that this can delay the shipment somewhat due to the goods being detained by customs. It is therefore your responsibility to contact the freight carrier and pay the added duties.

All prices on the web site include Danish taxes and duties (for EU members).
Complaints/Claims
As a consumer you have a claims right that lasts for 24 months, which means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, money back or price reduced, depending on the situation in question.
This is of course if the claim is legitimate. We want happy and satisfied customers and if you have problems with an item please don’t hesitate to contact us.
The Danish consumer laws governing complaints and claims mean that you have 24 months after a purchase to lodge a complaint concerning faulty and damaged goods.
It is of course a condition that these faults are not a result of wrongful usage or other damage inflicting behaviour.
You should lodge the complaint within a reasonable time frame after you discover the fault. Complaints received within 2 months will always be regarded as legitimate. We refund reasonable shipping costs incurred in conjunction with the return of goods when the complaint is considered legitimate.

An order no. or invoice no. and preferably a copy of the original invoice should be included when you return a product.
Returns/Change of Mind policy
Items can be returned for exchange due to a change of mind or refunded up to 14 days after receiving them. Some categories and specially adjusted/altered goods have special returns policies, see below.
When items are returned under these conditions, they must be returned in roughly the same capacity and condition as when you received them. You can open the package and try on the product as long as you can return them in the same capacity and condition, return rights are forfeited if the product is used in a way that obviously diminishes its face value.
When you return a product using our Change of Mind policy then you will have to cover the freight/shipping costs yourself. We recommend that you return your purchase in the original package materials that the product was delivered in.
You can return a product by:
Freight/shipping the unused product to us.
Refusing to accept the product. GLS returns the item to shoesandfriends.com at no extra cost to you as our customer.
Physically meet up in person at our address Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 15.00 and return the product.

When you change your mind and return a product, the total cost will be credited your card as soon as the product is received and controlled that it complies with the conditions of the returns/Change of Mind policy.
There is no Change of Mind/Returns for the following products:
Specially adjusted/altered goods, that you actively have accepted and agreed to a forfeit of return rights before the goods in question are altered.
Liability
shoesandfriends.com are not liable for sold out goods, print mistakes, spelling mistakes, changes in delivery from our suppliers and delayed products that are outside our sphere of control.
Delivery
Deliveries to all European countries will be charged €15 per item to the total cost.
General
We dispatch all orders as parcels via GLS or it’s partners where it’s possible to track and trace the parcel if there should be a problem. The order is insured during transport and the contents should be checked on delivery. If the parcel or contents thereof are damaged when you receive it then GLS should be notified immediately or within 2 days and then you should return the parcel to us at shoesandfriends.com.
shoesandfriends.com are not liable for goods damaged during transport.
We always pack goods with the utmost care using extra secure packaging to minimise the risk of damage during transport.
Delivery Time
We endeavour at shoesandfriends.com to deliver your order as fast as possible, all orders are processed within 1-2 weekdays shoesandfriends.com are not liable for eventual delays at GLS.
In the event of a long delay (many days) or your order not being delivered at all then shoesandfriends.com will dispatch a new order without extra cost to you.
Deliveries to the most of the EU countries and countries outside the EU are sent by GLS and can take up to 3-5 days to deliver.
