Combining classic and innovative designs, Gardenia is the leading trend-setter in Danish shoe design.

Today Gardenia comprises two brands, Gardenia and Shoe Biz. Characteristic for both brands are designs that follow fashionable trends, the assortment changes in tact with the trends of the day.

Gardenia was founded in 1941 in a basement in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Clogs were the only shoe produced in the beginning, but as the brand became more successful it moved to a factory in Vesterbro.

In the 60’s Gardenia were the largest producer of stiletto’s.
